Start with the Introduction, but don't miss "What to Feed the Servants in Sixteenth-Century Russia," where you may encounter some familiar names. But the whole site is fun, since it defines "recipes" as they did in the Middle Ages: to include medicines, herbs, beauty creams, potions, and all kinds of other things since banished from the term.
